Barringer Meteor Crater & Petrified Forest National Park
This day was mostly a straight shot across the desert on I-40, but luckily there were a couple interesting things to see along the way. We took a detour to the Barringer meteor crater and then took a short jog off the interstate so that we could drive through Petrified Forest National Park.
