Route 66 & Joshua Tree
We headed west out of Flagstaff on I-40 to Sligman where we then cut over to Route 66. 87 miles. We also decided to tack a sixth state on to our trip by cutting through the very tip of Nevada before heading south to Joshua Tree National Park. After that, it was onwards to our hotel in Indio.
